Initial Meeting

Initial meeting is free – this is an opportunity for us to get acquainted, for your doula to present to you our services, and to address any questions you might have.

• There is a $200 non-refundable retainer fee due upon agreement, which secures your spot on our calendar and is due upon contract signing.  The remainder of the fee can be paid in whatever increments work for you, with the full balance due by 38 weeks or 72 hours post birth.  If full balance is paid in full by 36 weeks, you will receive a $25 credit.
   

• We accept cash, personal checks, credit cards or PayPal. We can arrange a monthly payment plan.

• Your Doula, will:

• Assist you in creating a birth plan that is right for you.

• Support Mother emotionally and physically by

• Assisting in creating a relaxing environment

• Helping mother change into different positions and massage

• Support Father or partner emotionally and physically

• Assisting them in supporting the mother

• Assist in continued progression of labor and help facilitate communication with your care provider during labor and delivery

• Help answer any questions or concerns within my scope of practice

• We will not give medical advice but will help you find the resources you need to help answer your questions.  We will assist in helping clarify your questions for your care provider.  We do not perform medical or clinical procedures they are not within our scope of practice.

• Assist in securing bonding time with baby.

• Help with the first breastfeeding.
